Voter.ie, a new portal for Dublin residents to register to vote has been launched.
It is a new service that enables citizens (Dublin residents only) to go online to
Citizens with a verified MyGovID account, the Government’s single secure online identity for public services, can log in and access these services in a safe and secure manner.
Alongside these services, citizens can download voting application forms from the website, if they want to submit their request physically. Citizens can also find answers to Frequently Asked Questions around registering to vote and the contact details for their Local Authorities’ franchise sections.
This website has been launched by the four Dublin Local Authorities with Government support from the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection, and the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, Department of Public Expenditure and Reform. It currently supports only Dublin residents.
Polling day is scheduled for 24/05/2019. Applications for entry to the Register of Electors closes on 07/05/2019 5:00.
