The Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection is taking all necessary measures, in line with the advice of the Department of Health, HSE and Health Protection Surveillance Centre (HPSC), to protect its staff and the public from the Covid-19 (Coronavirus).

If you have been to an affected region in the last 14 days AND you are experiencing symptoms you should self-isolate and call your GP. You should not attend any Intreo Centre or public office of the Department in person, even where you have been invited or have made an appointment.

To manage enquiries from customers, the Department of Employment Affairs and Social Protection has made a special phone-line available at 1890 800 024 or 01 248 1398.

Enquiries will be taken here and referred to the relevant office, on behalf of the customer. The Department will manage customers’ claims or applications via phone/email as required, and customers will not lose out financially through non-attendance.

You can also avail of a range of online services at www.mywelfare.ie.
